Actively AI secures $17.5M in Series A funding to revolutionize revenue teams with advanced AI-driven sales solutions

Actively AI, a company transforming how revenue teams operate using advanced AI reasoning, has secured $17.5 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures with participation from First Round Capital which also led the previously unannounced $5 million seed round and prominent angel investors including Ironclad CEO Jason Boehmig, former Twitter COO Ali Rowghani, and Okta co-founder Frederic Kerrest. This brings Actively’s total funding to $22.5 million.

A Smarter Approach to Pipeline Growth

Founded by Stanford AI researchers Mihir Garimella and Anshul Gupta, Actively is tackling one of the biggest pain points in sales: building high-quality pipelines amid growing noise and limited time. Sales reps today often spend just 30% of their time selling, while research from LinkedIn shows that deep prospect research is crucial to success.

Actively’s AI builds a company-specific reasoning model that mimics top-performing sellers while analyzing more data than any human could. The system helps sales teams like those at Ramp, Ironclad, and Justworks boost revenue by identifying and engaging with the most promising prospects.

Actively’s platform offers custom AI tailored to each business’s strategy, using precision prospecting to analyze data and identify high-value opportunities. It provides strategic engagement hypotheses, guiding sales reps on the best approach to leads, along with actionable recommendations and messaging suggestions.

The platform aligns revenue operations across sales, marketing, and customer success teams, while continuously learning from interactions to improve recommendations over time.

Driving Real Revenue Results

Actively’s AI has already delivered impressive results. At Ramp, the platform is used from day one to train new reps and has helped close tens of millions in revenue. Ironclad has seen a 41% higher conversion rate from contacts flagged by Actively’s recommendations.
