Apple Expands AI Features with iOS 18.4 and Vision Pro Support

Apple is growing its AI-driven features under the Apple Intelligence umbrella with iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 releases. Among the highlights is Priority Notifications, a feature that uses AI to surface the most time-sensitive alerts by displaying them at the top of the notification stack. This aims to reduce the clutter from less important updates like promotional messages, allowing users to focus on what truly matters.
Enhanced AI Capabilities Across Devices
Apple Intelligence is also making its debut in new regions and platforms. The company has officially launched its AI suite to iPhone and iPad users in the EU and extended support to the Apple Vision Pro headset in US English. This rollout significantly broadens the reach of Apple’s AI technology.
Users can now create “memory movies” on Mac by simply typing a description, adding a new layer of personalization and convenience. Additionally, the Image Playground app has been updated to include a new Sketch style, enabling users to generate more detailed and academic-looking visuals.
Broader Language Support and New Emojis
Apple has increased the language support of its AI features, which are now available in French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. The update also introduces localized English support for Singapore and India users, highlighting Apple's efforts towards global AI adoption.
