Belltown Power Texas Launches 1.4 GW Data Center Push in North Texas

Belltown Power Texas, a leading renewable energy developer, has announced the development of six new data center sites across the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex.
Together, these sites represent a combined load request of 1,435 megawatts (MW). Strategically located near key transmission hubs and the DFW metro area, the sites offer rapid interconnection opportunities and scalability, ideal for hyperscale and AI-driven operations.
Leveraging Renewable Energy Expertise
With over eight years of experience developing greenfield utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, more than 3 gigawatts (GW) of which are either operational or under construction Belltown Power Texas brings deep expertise in grid dynamics and site selection.
This background uniquely positions the company to meet the fast-growing demands of the data center sector.

Among the six sites, one 15 MW project has already secured a committed capacity agreement with the local utility. The remaining projects are currently progressing through the utility study phases, signaling strong momentum in Belltown’s data center initiative.
