Darktrace Reinvents Network Detection and Response with AI-Powered Enhancements

Darktrace, a global leader in AI-driven cybersecurity, has unveiled a series of significant enhancements to its Network Detection and Response (NDR) solution, aimed at helping enterprises tackle the increasing complexity of hybrid and distributed digital environments.
As enterprises shift further toward cloud applications and remote work, Darktrace is evolving its capabilities beyond traditional NDR approaches by introducing AI-led detection, deeper visibility, and precision autonomous response.
Self-Learning AI for a Borderless World
The upgraded Darktrace NDR leverages the company's Self-Learning AI to identify unknown threats without relying on signatures or pre-defined rules. It dynamically adapts to new attack methods, whether they emerge from remote endpoints, SaaS misconfigurations, or internal infrastructure delivering rapid, autonomous responses that reduce analyst burden and contain threats in real time.
New integrations elevate threat visibility and response across cloud and edge environments. A partnership with Netskope enables Darktrace to ingest decrypted SASE traffic for remote users, eliminating blind spots. Additionally, the integration with Zscaler Private Access empowers Darktrace to autonomously revoke network access for compromised remote devices via Zero Trust principles.
Darktrace now supports decrypted traffic analysis through integration with Mira ETO, allowing compliance-conscious organizations to gain insight into plaintext data while retaining encrypted traffic context.
The rollout of custom Autonomous Response routes further enables organizations to isolate threats without disrupting essential operations, even in heavily segmented environments.

New Risk Visualization and Protocol Coverage
To help security teams prioritize and communicate cyber risk more effectively, Darktrace introduces an interactive attack path visualization tool and three new automated risk management reports.
The platform also expands its protocol analysis with WebSocket support, extending detection to real-time communication applications such as live chat and streaming.
Already recognized as a leader in the 2024 IDC MarketScape and KuppingerCole NDR reports, Darktrace continues to demonstrate measurable impact. Companies like HARMAN International use Darktrace to detect and respond to the majority of threats autonomously, reducing analyst workloads while elevating focus on critical issues.
