Fujitsu and Supermicro Deepen AI Collaboration with Launch of New Managed Services and High-Performance Generative AI Server

Fujitsu Limited and Super Micro Computer, Inc. have announced an expanded strategic partnership to accelerate the deployment of generative AI in secure, enterprise-grade environments.

As part of this initiative, they introduced the PRIMERGY GX2570 M8s, an advanced OEM server tailored for large-scale AI workloads, alongside SupportDesk and Infrastructure Manager, new service and management solutions aimed at simplifying enterprise AI adoption.

A Scalable AI Infrastructure for the Enterprise

The new PRIMERGY GX2570 M8s will come in both 10U air-cooled and 4U liquid-cooled variants and is powered by NVIDIA's latest HGX B200 GPUs, making it ideal for compute-heavy generative AI applications.

Fujitsu will begin offering these servers in July 2025 as part of a broader managed service model, enabling businesses to deploy powerful AI infrastructure without owning the physical assets.

This managed service will integrate hardware, Fujitsu's proprietary Takane large language model (LLM), and expert support to create a plug-and-play environment for enterprises to begin using generative AI swiftly and securely.

Addressing Risks of AI in Sensitive Use Cases

With the adoption of generative AI often restricted by concerns around data privacy, compliance, and infrastructure complexity, this offering is tailored to eliminate key barriers. The dedicated environment, combined with enterprise-class GPUs, ensures sensitive data stays within controlled boundaries, a crucial requirement for sectors like finance, government, and healthcare.

The SupportDesk solution will provide on-site support within 2 hours across Japan through a network of 4,000 engineers at over 700 locations. This minimizes downtime and ensures that mission-critical AI applications run smoothly.

Fujitsu’s Infrastructure Manager offers integrated server lifecycle management across Supermicro’s AI servers and Fujitsu’s PRIMERGY servers. From deployment to updates, enterprises can oversee their infrastructure from a single interface, freeing up resources for innovation rather than maintenance.

Enabling Safe, Scalable AI Adoption

Kazushi Koga, Corporate Executive Officer at Fujitsu, said, “By strengthening its collaboration with Supermicro, Fujitsu has created a comprehensive managed service offering that combines OEM servers with high-performance GPUs for generative AI in dedicated environments, along with high-quality maintenance, integrated management services and the Takane LLM for enterprises.”

He added, “We are confident that this initiative is an innovative step toward promoting safe and secure generative AI utilization and will contribute to the expansion of our customers' businesses.”

Together, Fujitsu and Supermicro are setting a new standard for secure, scalable, and simplified generative AI deployment, giving businesses the tools they need to harness the next wave of AI innovation.
