G42 and Cisco Forge Strategic Partnership to Fuel AI Innovation and Infrastructure Growth

G42, the UAE-based technology group, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking and security. The MoU paves the way for a strategic partnership to fuel artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and infrastructure growth in both the public and private sectors.
The accord was delivered to His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, by Peng Xiao, G42 Group CEO, and Chuck Robbins, Cisco Chairman and CEO.
Enabling Greater AI Potential through Secure Ecosystems
Peng Xiao, CEO of G42, said, “This MoU with Cisco reflects our shared interest in exploring how AI infrastructure and innovation can be scaled responsibly and securely across markets. As G42 continues to expand its international footprint, we welcome the opportunity to align with organizations that value open collaboration, trusted ecosystems, and long-term impact.”
He added, “We look forward to identifying areas where our combined capabilities can support governments, enterprises, and communities in harnessing the full potential of AI.”
The tie-up is centered around a few major areas, such as a joint Go-to-Market effort that utilizes Cisco's secure AI platform and offerings, combined with G42's local knowledge and AI infrastructure.
Combined, the two organizations will push the diffusion of AI technology within the UAE and globally, responding to the increasing need for high-performance computing and AI solutions.
Building AI-Powered Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Solutions
Aside from their Go-to-Market venture, G42 and Cisco will explore opportunities for co-creating AI-powered cybersecurity solutions.
The collaboration will also investigate a reference architecture blending Cisco's network, security, and infrastructure products, tailored specifically to enable high-performance computing as well as secure AI workloads. The two companies are cooperating to assist customers in developing and securing AI-capable data centers while optimizing workloads for AI.
