KPMG Unveils AI Trust to Guarantee Governance, Security, and Compliance of AI

KPMG has introduced its new portfolio of services, KPMG AI Trust, designed to support clients in tackling the intricacies of scaling AI use cases with confidence in their reliability, transparency, and accountability.
Driven by the expertise of KPMG's Trusted AI framework and the ServiceNow AI Control Tower, the suite provides a complete set of tools and processes intended to facilitate AI lifecycle management, from strategy through operations designed to ensure secure and ethical AI systems.
The Growing Need for AI Governance
As AI is quickly becoming a business strategy pillar, organizations are increasingly struggling to control data privacy and security risks. In KPMG's AI Quarterly Pulse survey, 82% of leaders view risk management as a major challenge, and 73% value data privacy when choosing a generative AI (LLM) provider.
Nonetheless, the latest Trust in AI report showed that just 46% of individuals worldwide trust in AI systems, highlighting the necessity for effective AI regulation to promote consumer trust and regulatory alignment.
Bryan McGowan, Global Trusted AI Leader at KPMG, said, “We are at a critical turning point where AI is moving fast, but governance is lagging. It's not enough for AI to simply work; it needs to be trustworthy.
He added, “By activating KPMG AI Trust with alliance partners like ServiceNow, we are taking a significant step forward in AI governance to set a new standard for AI risk management across all industries.”
