Mirantis Unveils k0rdent Enterprise and k0rdent Virtualization to Streamline AI and Cloud Workloads

Mirantis, a leader in open-source software for infrastructure control, has launched two new products, Mirantis k0rdent Enterprise and Mirantis k0rdent Virtualization designed to streamline the management of AI, containerized, and virtual machine (VM) workloads.
These solutions provide a Kubernetes-native model that simplifies operations, enabling seamless management of both modern and legacy applications across various infrastructures.
k0rdent Solutions streamlines infrastructure management by unifying containerized and virtualized environments, automating provisioning and scaling with Kubernetes, and optimizing resource use. It speeds up deployments with self-service templates and supports AI, microservices, and legacy applications across cloud or on-prem infrastructure without refactoring.
A Seamless Path to Unified AI Infrastructure
Shaun O'Meara, Chief Technology Officer at Mirantis, said, “Organizations are navigating a complex mix of legacy systems and emerging AI demands.”
He added, “k0rdent Enterprise and k0rdent Virtualization are delivering a seamless path to unified, Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure, enabling faster deployment, easier compliance, and reduced risk across any public, private, hybrid, or edge environment.”
Advanced Automation with Kubernetes-Native Capabilities
Platform engineers can define, deploy, and operate Kubernetes infrastructure with k0rdent using declarative automation and GitOps workflows. Built on the self-contained open-source k0s, k0rdent simplifies infrastructure management and speeds up digital transformation efforts by automating workflows with validated templates from the Mirantis ecosystem.
k0rdent Virtualization provides an alternative to VMware's vSphere, ESXi, and vRealize, making it ideal for enterprises modernizing their application portfolios and expanding edge infrastructure with AI and cloud-native workloads. This flexibility allows businesses to maintain their legacy systems while adopting the latest technologies.
