Net Zero Data Center Alliance Launches to Deliver Sustainable, Bio-Farm-Integrated AI Infrastructure

In a bold step toward redefining sustainable digital infrastructure, four industry leaders, INNOVO - Profitable Net Zero, ESS, ARCO Design/Build (ARCO), and the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation have joined forces to form the Net Zero Data Center Alliance.
This newly launched collaboration aims to develop and deploy next-generation data centers that drastically cut carbon emissions while meeting surging demand from AI and machine learning applications.
A Groundbreaking Model for Sustainable Computing
Unlike long-horizon solutions such as nuclear, the alliance’s approach combines immediately deployable technologies: bio-farm-integrated gas power, zero-emission innovations, and fast-track sustainable construction.
The initiative is designed to provide high-performance, low-emission computing capacity addressing the environmental impact of traditional data centers without compromising commercial performance.
Martin Kelly, Chair and Founder of INNOVO - Profitable Net Zero, said, “The data center industry is at a critical inflection point where sustainability can no longer be separated from operational excellence.”
He added, "Our alliance represents a fundamental shift in how data infrastructure can be both environmentally responsible and commercially competitive, offering a solution that's available now rather than decades in the future."
Partners Unite for Scalable Green Infrastructure
Each alliance member brings specialized capabilities to deliver a comprehensive, vertically integrated solution:
INNOVO supplies proprietary bio-farm technology that captures CO‚ÇÇ from power generation and transforms it into marketable byproducts - aligning sustainability with profitability. ESS delivers resilient energy infrastructure, combining multi-generator redundancy with battery storage to ensure uninterrupted operations.
ARCO Design/Build leverages its three-decade track record in mission-critical construction, offering single-source accountability for faster, more efficient facility delivery. Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation provides local investment incentives and strategic community integration to support scalable development.

Pilot Projects and Full Deployment in 2025
The alliance will begin with the development of pilot facilities in select strategic US markets, with full-scale commercial deployment slated for late 2025. The initial projects are expected to reduce carbon emissions by over 90% compared to traditional facilities, a potential game-changer for data center sustainability.
