Neural Defend Raises $600K to Combat Deepfake Threats

Neural Defend, a cybersecurity startup, announced that it has raised over $600,000 in a pre-seed funding round. Inflection Point Ventures led the funding round. Apart from that, MIT SBXI, Techstars San Francisco and Soonicorn Ventures also contributed to the funding round.
The raised money will help Neural Defend enhance its AI driven technology for real time deepfake detection. The money will primarily support the startup’s research and development efforts.

Started in 2024, the startup is focusing on addressing the growing threat of AI generated digital deception. The proprietary models developed by the startup detects deepfakes across multiple formats. This includes images, videos, audio and live streams. This advanced technology enables businesses, governments, and financial institutions to prevent fraud in real time.
