Nokia and ResetData Partner to Power Australia’s AI Data Centers
ResetData’s partnership with Nokia will power Australia’s first sovereign AI Factory rollout, combining ultra-fast networking with sustainable cloud infrastructure.

Nokia has been chosen as the primary networking technology partner for ResetData, an Australian cloud provider, to enable the nationwide rollout of its sovereign ‘AI Factory’ data centers.

The Nokia IP solution will equip ResetData with the necessary speed, scalability, and reliability to deliver ultra-low latency and lossless performance vital for meeting the growing demands of Australia’s cloud services sector, which has seen a 19% annual growth in 2024.

ResetData’s AI factories emphasize national sovereignty, ensuring data and systems remain within Australia’s legal jurisdiction, bolstering security and compliance. The company’s innovative liquid immersion cooling system claims to improve energy efficiency by up to 10 times compared to traditional models, while reducing cloud operating costs by 40% and carbon emissions by 45%, setting a new standard for sustainable AI operations.

Driving Australia’s Competitive Edge in AI

Karl Kloppenborg, ResetData’s Chief Technology Officer, said, “We are moving quickly because sovereign AI is critical to Australia’s international competitiveness. Together with the ResetData AI Marketplace, our rollout is delivering critical AI, machine learning and large language model capabilities on-shore and on-demand for the first time.”

He added, “To make it happen, we needed a partner as committed to sustainability as we are, with local resourcing and global reach, who could meet a demanding timeline, scale from single GPUs to entire AI Factories, and replicate Melbourne’s launch nationally. Nokia has been a core partner at every step.”

Nationwide Rollout with Sustainable, High-Speed Networking

With the backing of Centuria Capital Group, ResetData will deploy Nokia’s 7750 Service Routers across multiple commercial locations nationwide, starting in Melbourne’s central business district.

The advanced FP5-based Nokia IP platform promises superior performance and security, while achieving up to 75% energy savings over previous router generations.

Acting as the gateway for ResetData’s powerful GPU clusters, the Nokia 7750 SR-1x routers will provide seamless connectivity between data centers and external networks, supporting data transfer speeds of up to 800Gb/s. This will enable ResetData to meet the precision and timing demands crucial for high-performance AI workloads.
