NVIDIA and Microsoft partner to supercharge scientific discovery—agentic AI and cutting-edge GPUs converge to redefine healthcare, biotech, and research innovation.

NVIDIA and Microsoft have deepened their collaboration to deliver breakthrough advancements in agentic AI, a transformative technology that is accelerating research and driving innovations across multiple industries.

Through this collaboration, they are enhancing Microsoft Discovery, a platform designed to accelerate the end-to-end discovery process for scientists by leveraging the power of AI.

Key Innovations

Microsoft is advancing AI and biotech with NVIDIA integrations across its platforms. Its Discovery platform uses NVIDIA’s ALCHEMI and BioNeMo microservices to speed up materials science and drug discovery, cutting research time dramatically.

Azure data centers are deploying NVIDIA GB200 systems, boosting inference throughput 35-fold with powerful GPUs and high-speed networking. Azure AI Foundry now incorporates NVIDIA’s Llama Nemotron and BioNeMo models to enhance AI reasoning, coding, and healthcare applications, accelerating progress in drug discovery and genomic analysis.

Generative AI and RTX AI PCs

NVIDIA and Microsoft are also enhancing generative AI capabilities for Windows 11 PCs through the use of RTX AI PCs. The TensorRT for RTX AI inferencing stack has been optimized to simplify the development process and improve inference performance for AI applications.

With Windows ML, developers can now create AI-powered applications with broad hardware compatibility and top-tier performance. This will allow applications to leverage the power of AI for creative tools, writing assistants, and intelligent agents, transforming the user experience.
