NVIDIA and xAI join the AI Infrastructure Partnership, strengthening the initiative's mission to scale next-generation AI data centers and energy solutions for global economic growth

BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), Microsoft, and MGX have officially welcomed NVIDIA and xAI into the AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP), further strengthening the platform's AI technology and infrastructure leadership.

The addition of these global AI giants reinforces AIP’s mission to invest in next-generation AI data centers and power solutions. As part of this collaboration, NVIDIA will continue as a technical advisor, leveraging its expertise in accelerated computing and AI factories to guide the deployment of cutting-edge AI data center infrastructure.

Collaboration with GE Vernova and NextEra Energy

The partnership has also expanded to include GE Vernova and NextEra Energy. Together with AIP, these companies will focus on scaling energy solutions for AI data centers. GE Vernova will collaborate on supply chain planning and provide innovative, energy-efficient solutions, while NextEra Energy will ensure that diverse energy solutions are implemented to power the AI infrastructure effectively.

Strengthening AI’s Role in Economic Growth

The partnership's investments are not just for capacity growth but are equally for charting the future of AI growth. With the addition of NVIDIA and xAI, AIP is focused on creating a platform that is open to a wide range of partners, ensuring a broad ecosystem for AI infrastructure. AIP’s approach is designed to support diverse industries and advance the future of AI technology.

Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, said, “The global buildout of AI infrastructure will benefit every company and country that wants to achieve economic growth and unlock solutions to the world’s greatest challenges. AI factories built on NVIDIA’s full-stack AI infrastructure will convert data into intelligence to accelerate every industry and help society achieve unimaginable breakthroughs.”
