NVIDIA Expands AI Infrastructure Across Europe to Strengthen Digital Sovereignty and Economic Growth

NVIDIA has announced its collaboration with European governments, technology companies, and industry leaders to build AI infrastructure across Europe. This initiative aims to empower the continent to become a leader in the AI industrial revolution by strengthening digital sovereignty, supporting economic growth, and positioning Europe as a global hub for AI innovation.
France, Italy, Spain, and the UK are among the countries that are building domestic AI infrastructure with support from technology providers like Mistral AI, Domyn, and Nscale, and telecommunications companies such as Orange, Swisscom, Telefónica, and Telenor.
These efforts will provide more than 3,000 exaflops of NVIDIA Blackwell compute resources, enabling European enterprises, startups, and public sector organizations to develop, train, and deploy agentic AI applications securely.
Building Europe’s AI Infrastructure
NVIDIA is working closely with European nations to set up AI technology centers and deploy AI solutions across the continent. In France, Mistral AI is collaborating with NVIDIA to build a cloud platform powered by 18,000 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell systems.
In the UK, Nebius and Nscale are deploying 14,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs to create scalable AI infrastructure in new data centers. Germany is set to host the world's first industrial AI cloud, supported by 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, focusing on manufacturing applications, digital twins, and robotics.
AI-Driven Manufacturing and Sovereign AI Solutions
In Italy, Domyn is developing AI reasoning models on its Colosseum supercomputer, supported by NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Superchips, to enhance regulated industries. Spanish and Italian data centers will feature AI factories for generative AI and large language models.
Telecommunications providers like Orange, Swisscom, Fastweb, Telenor, and Telefónica are also partnering with NVIDIA to deploy sovereign AI infrastructure. These collaborations will enable enterprises to build and scale AI models, including AI assistants, language models, and multilingual AI services.
