NVIDIA’s AI Cloud Revolutionizes European Manufacturing

NVIDIA has announced the development of Europe’s first industrial AI cloud designed to accelerate AI infrastructure for European manufacturers. The AI factory, based in Germany, will feature 10,000 GPUs, including NVIDIA DGX™ B200 systems and NVIDIA RTX PRO™ Servers, enabling manufacturers to enhance every application in their product lifecycle, from design and engineering to simulation, factory digital twins, and robotics.
The AI factory will run NVIDIA CUDA-X™ libraries, NVIDIA RTX™, and NVIDIA Omniverse™-accelerated workloads in collaboration with industry-leading software providers such as Siemens, Ansys, Cadence, and Rescale. It will leverage AI to enable smarter and more efficient production processes, contributing to the future of AI-driven manufacturing.
Transforming Product Lifecycles with AI
The collaboration with manufacturers like BMW Group, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and Schaeffler will allow them to transform end-to-end product lifecycles, including simulated product design, AI-driven operations, and AI-powered logistics. Using NVIDIA-accelerated AI tools, these manufacturers can streamline their processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “In the era of AI, every manufacturer needs two factories: one for making things, and one for creating the intelligence that powers them.”
He added, “By building Europe’s first industrial AI infrastructure, we’re enabling the region’s leading industrial companies to advance simulation-first, AI-driven manufacturing.”
Accelerating Innovation with NVIDIA and Siemens
NVIDIA and Siemens have expanded their partnership to create digital factories of the future. Maserati uses Siemens solutions powered by Omniverse to simulate airflow over car bodies, optimizing its manufacturing processes.
Ansys and Volvo Cars are also accelerating fluid simulations using NVIDIA GPUs, cutting simulation times and reducing hardware costs.
Cadence has announced the use of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs to accelerate AI-accelerated simulation in silicon and system design, transforming various industries including aviation. Toulouse-based Ascendance uses NVIDIA GPUs to design next-gen aircraft, achieving 20x reduction in simulation runtimes.
