REplace Secures $2.1 Million to Accelerate Renewable Energy and Data Center Development
REplace uses AI to accelerate clean energy and data center site development, cutting project timelines from months to seconds with its real-time land intelligence platform.

REplace, an AI-driven platform designed to streamline the development of renewable energy and data center projects, has raised a $2.1 million funding round.

This funding will help expand the company’s impact in the US market and contribute to accelerating the global clean energy transition. With a total funding of $2.175 million, REplace is set to scale its operations, leveraging its proprietary algorithms to identify optimal sites and accelerate deployment.

Faster Development, Lower Costs, and Smarter Decisions

REplace's platform helps developers and investors make faster, smarter decisions by reducing siting timelines from months to seconds. By analyzing over 50 factors, such as landowner data, grid information, and permitting risks, the platform provides instant go/no-go decisions for specific land parcels, maximizing ROI, minimizing risks, and cutting costs.

The AI-powered platform also plays a critical role in helping acquisition teams evaluate secondary-market projects. This makes it a vital tool for those looking to navigate the complexities of site selection, permitting, and interconnection delays, issues that often cause 80% of clean energy projects to be withdrawn.

A Critical Tool for Clean Energy Transition

Matias Sigal, Co-Founder and CEO of Replace, said, “REplace is setting a new standard for how renewable energy and data center projects are developed and planned.”

He added, “This investment fuels our vision to become the definitive platform for renewable energy development and acquisition, and to help drive the global energy transition at the speed the world demands. By applying advanced AI to real estate and site selection, permitting, and project M&A, we're compressing timelines from months into seconds—unlocking faster development, lower costs, and smarter decisions.”

With global low-carbon energy investments reaching $2.1 trillion in 2024, and the U.S. government offering historic incentives through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the need for efficient clean energy development has never been greater.

REplace aims to meet this demand by providing instant insights that accelerate development timelines, enabling faster and smarter decisions for renewable energy projects.

Industry Support and Strategic Partnerships

REplace’s technology is already being used by leading renewable energy companies such as Iberdrola, EDF Renewables, and Doral Energy to power their development strategies. These companies rely on REplace’s platform to identify optimal sites for their projects, ensuring that they can execute their plans efficiently and effectively.

Expanding AI and Land Intelligence

REplace plans to use this new funding to grow its engineering team, enhance its US presence, and expand its AI capabilities across land and M&A. The company’s AI-driven land intelligence is poised to scale the clean energy sector, optimizing both renewable energy and data center infrastructure.
