SplxAI Raises $7 Million to Advance Security for Agentic AI Applications

SplxAI, a rising leader in AI security, announced it has raised $7 million in seed funding to further develop its platform for safeguarding agentic AI systems. The round was led by LAUNCHub Ventures, with additional support from Rain Capital, Inovo, Runtime Ventures, DNV Ventures, and South Central Ventures.
As part of the funding, Stan Sirakov, General Partner at LAUNCHub, will join SplxAI’s Board of Directors, and Sandy Dunn, former CISO at Brand Engagement Network, will take on the role of Chief Information Security Officer, overseeing the company’s governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives.
Addressing the New Threat Landscape of Agentic AI
With the rise of agentic AI, cybersecurity has entered uncharted territory. SplxAI’s mission is to equip security teams and AI developers with tools to test and monitor these evolving systems rigorous.
Kristian Kamber, CEO & Co-founder, said, “Our mission is to re-define how security leaders and AI practitioners test their AI applications and agentic workflows.”
He added, “Deploying AI agents at scale introduces significant complexity, creating potential vulnerabilities that only in-depth, continuous testing can uncover. With the rapid advancement of LLMs, manual testing is not feasible. SplxAI’s advanced platform is the only scalable solution for securing agentic AI, providing security leaders with the tools they need to confidently embrace AI.”
According to industry projections, 33% of enterprise applications will include agentic AI by 2028, creating a rapidly expanding attack surface. Traditional defenses, like real-time guardrails, often prove ineffective due to poor training or overly rigid rules, making automated security solutions increasingly essential.
A Fully Automated AI Security Testing Platform
SplxAI’s platform is designed from the ground up to handle the unique risks of large language models (LLMs) and multi-modal AI systems across text, voice, and image data. It simulates advanced adversarial threats using a comprehensive, continuously updated attack database, allowing organizations to detect vulnerabilities such as prompt injections, hallucinations, and off-topic behavior.
SplxAI enables real-time detection, dynamic remediation, and continuous threat monitoring by automating hundreds of potential attack scenarios, helping businesses deploy AI agents confidently and securely.

Industry Momentum and Rapid Growth
The company is already gaining traction with major enterprise clients, including KPMG, Infobip, Glean, and the Brand Engagement Network. Since launching in August 2024, SplxAI has recorded 127% quarter-over-quarter growth, reflecting strong demand for AI-specific security tools.
In addition to its core platform, SplxAI recently released Agentic Radar, an open-source tool designed to map the dependencies in agentic AI workflows, identify missing safeguards, and assess risks through static code analysis.
