Vietnam to Host Major AI-Semiconductor Conference with Global Tech Leaders
Vietnam is all set to host the International AI-Semiconductor Conference 2025 (AISC 2025) in Hanoi and Da Nang. The conference will take place from 12 March to 16 March. Over a 1000 experts and executives from top tech firms are expected to attend the conference. Tech giants such as Google, DeepMind, IBM, Intel, and Samsung are among the prominent names that are set to be present at the event.
Vietnam’s Role in the AI and Semiconductor Industry
Vietnam has been gradually establishing itself as a regional player in the international semiconductor and AI industries. The AISC 2025 will reflect the nation's increasing role in these industries. Hosted by the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC) and Aitomatic, the conference will discuss investment possibilities, enhance industry collaborations, and promote Vietnam's promise within the highly transforming AI and semiconductor industries.
Throughout the five day event, the attendees will participate in workshops, forums, and networking sessions. Along with that, a major forum will take place on 14 March that will center on industry trends and Vietnam's growing role in the AI semiconductor value chain. Key discussions will also cover AI applications in semiconductor chip design, production, and utilization.
Workshops and Future Plans
In addition to the forum, workshops on March 12-13 will dive deeper into AI and its application in semiconductor production. Government officials and private sector leaders will gather to discuss cooperation opportunities in the AI and semiconductor industries. NVIDIA, Meta, AI for Vietnam, and Aitomatic will launch a national project to develop a Vietnamese language database for open-source code.
On March 15, executives will take part in roundtable discussions and networking activities in Da Nang.
The conference promises to accelerate Vietnam’s position in these sectors and attract further investment from global technology giants.
