Vultr, a leading cloud provider, has announced that it will be among the first to offer the new AMD Instinct MI355X GPU, marking a significant step in its commitment to enhancing its AI infrastructure offerings.

As a top-tier sponsor of AMD Advancing AI, Vultr is now accepting pre-orders for early access to these GPUs, which will be available in Q3. This move aims to empower customers worldwide with the performance required to accelerate their AI workloads, whether for training, inference, or scientific simulations.

The AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs are built on AMD's 4th Gen CDNA architecture and deliver exceptional performance and energy efficiency.

With a massive 288 GB of HBM3E memory and high memory bandwidth of 8 TB/s, the GPUs are designed to meet the complex demands of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) tasks. Furthermore, the MI355X GPUs provide expanded datatype support, including FP6 and FP4, optimizing solutions for diverse AI needs.

Optimized for High-Density Environments

For environments requiring higher-density setups, Vultr offers direct liquid cooling (DLC) options, which enhance thermal efficiency and unlock higher performance per rack. This cooling solution supports advanced infrastructure at scale, ensuring that the performance potential of the GPUs is fully realized.

In addition to the powerful hardware, Vultr customers will benefit from the latest ROCm software enhancements. These updates optimize AI inference, training, and framework compatibility, delivering high throughput and ultra-low latency, which are critical for demanding AI applications.
