WhiteFiber Enhances GPU-as-a-Service with DriveNets’ Network Cloud-AI
WhiteFiber partners with DriveNets to boost GPU-as-a-Service using Network Cloud-AI, powering scalable, low-latency AI infrastructure in its new Iceland data center.

WhiteFiber, a leading provider of next-generation HPC and AI infrastructure, has partnered with DriveNets to enhance its cloud-based GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) offerings.

The collaboration leverages DriveNets' cutting-edge Network Cloud-AI as the back-end and storage network solution, enabling WhiteFiber to provide customers with optimal GPU utilization and performance at a competitive price.

The solution is designed to meet the high demands of AI workloads by ensuring low latency, flexible scaling, and multi-tenancy capabilities.

DriveNets' Role in WhiteFiber’s AI Data Center

WhiteFiber has deployed DriveNets’ Network Cloud-AI infrastructure in its new AI data center in Iceland, a facility designed to support fast-growing GPUaaS needs. The solution connects GPUs to GPUs for high-performance networking, as well as connects storage to GPUs, ensuring efficient data flow across the entire AI infrastructure.

WhiteFiber’s CTO, Tom Sanfillippo, said, "WhiteFiber is focused on customer satisfaction by delivering high performance and maximum value through superior GPU utilization.”

He added, "We selected DriveNets Network Cloud-AI since it has been proven to deliver the highest Ethernet-based AI connectivity in enterprise and Hyperscaler environments. That's the type of innovation and performance we look for in the companies we work with. We were able to deploy Network Cloud-AI with very short lead time and exceptionally fast installation time, getting our AI data center up and running quickly, which was critical to address rapidly growing market demand."

Superior GPU Utilization and Multi-Tenancy Support

WhiteFiber has seen significant performance improvements with DriveNets’ AI infrastructure. The company's use of Network Cloud-AI has led to better job completion times, especially for their customer workloads, as demonstrated by higher NCCL testing bus bandwidth.

The multi-tenancy support in DriveNets' solution is particularly beneficial for WhiteFiber’s GPUaaS offerings, allowing dynamic adaptation to different models while maintaining performance separation between tenants. This eliminates the "noisy neighbor effect" that often hampers performance in shared computing environments.
