Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025 Highlights AI and Digital Transformation in Education

The inaugural Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025, which was held from May 7 to 8 in Bangkok, gathered educators, policymakers, and technology visionaries from throughout the region to discuss the future-shaping power of artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalization in education.
With the theme "Shaping Tomorrow: AI and Digital Technologies in Education," the summit welcomed delegates from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, all looking forward to sharing insights on the changing education landscape driven by emerging technologies.

While AI continues to transform education, the summit provided a major platform to discuss the role of ed-tech tools in boosting digital literacy and classroom innovation.
Acer demonstrated its portfolio of AI-driven devices and education solutions meant to revolutionize teaching practices, automate administrative burdens, and enhance student engagement.
A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Altos aiWorks AI computing platform by Altos Computing, an Acer subsidiary.
The platform, featuring powerful AI servers and workstations, is tailored to meet the demands of generative AI and large-scale model training.
Altos aiWorks’ flexible GPU resource allocation allows multiple users to share computational resources, offering immense value to educational institutions by enabling high-performance computing tasks simultaneously across various students or departments.

High-Performance AI Servers for Education
One of the most anticipated products at the summit was the Altos BrainSphere™️ R680 F7 Server, which supports up to eight NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs or RTX Pro™️ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs.
This powerful system is designed to handle compute-intensive and AI-driven workloads, making it ideal for educational environments requiring high computational power.
Looking ahead, Altos Computing will introduce two new AI servers early in Q3: the Altos BrainSphereTM R880 F6, a GPU-enabled NVIDIA B200 AI server, and the Altos BrainSphereTM R780 F7, an 8GPU, 4U AI server. These platforms demonstrate Altos' dedication to advancing AI innovation across industries such as education, enterprise, and research.
Esports and Immersive Learning Integration
The summit also displayed interactive exhibits from top technology partners such as Intel, Microsoft, and Google.
Acer's subsidiary AOPEN and Acer's SpatialLabs stereoscopic series and the Predator gaming brand showed how esports and immersive learning could be integrated into the classroom to create better engagement and provide new learning experiences for students.
