Experian Partners with AWS for Cloud and AI Transformation
Experian teams up with AWS to migrate from legacy systems and power over 100 generative AI use cases, enhancing analytics and cloud performance.

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) announced that Experian, a global leader in data and technology, is advancing to the next phase of its cloud migration by selecting AWS as its preferred cloud partner.

This move will enable Experian to leverage AWS’s advanced capabilities, offering faster and more scalable solutions that deliver deeper insights and enhanced security for their clients.

Experian’s cloud-first strategy, in collaboration with AWS, will enhance performance, scalability, and reliability. By migrating away from mainframe systems and transitioning multiple on-premises servers to the cloud, Experian aims to centralize its technology platforms and drive deeper insights and predictive capabilities through its cloud infrastructure.

Generative AI to Drive Operational Efficiency

As part of a 10-year strategic partnership, Experian has chosen AWS as its primary partner for generative artificial intelligence (AI). This collaboration will focus on developing over 100 generative AI use-cases aimed at improving operational efficiency, automating data handling processes, and optimizing database migrations.

These innovations will also empower Experian to offer new credit and financial analytics products, transforming how the company serves its clients with more advanced and secure data solutions.

The integration of generative AI will enable Experian to streamline complex database migration processes, reduce downtime, enhance data accuracy, and provide more efficient services for its clients. Through this collaboration, Experian strengthens its position as a leading data technology provider.

Enhanced Performance and Security

Rodrigo Rodrigues, Chief Technology Officer at Experian, said, “Our initial migrations gave us enhanced performance, security, and reliability, making it an easy choice to take that a step farther and embrace a cloud-first strategy.

He added, “Having our data readily available in the cloud sets us up to invest in new capabilities like generative AI and advance products and solutions for our clients with proven security. By moving to AWS, we've reduced our data processing time by 60%, improved our ability to launch new products from months to weeks, and can now analyze credit data in real-time to better serve our customers."

With AWS, Experian is benefiting from improved performance, security, and reliability in its cloud-first transition.
