Gridmatic Signs 10MW Solar Deal in Texas to Deliver AI-Optimized Clean Power

Gridmatic, a leading AI-enabled power marketer, has announced a significant milestone with a 10-megawatt (MW) solar power purchase agreement (PPA) in Texas, in collaboration with Mars Solar, a project managed and co-owned by Sol Systems.
This agreement marks an important step in Gridmatic's ongoing efforts to expand its clean energy offerings, particularly in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector.
The solar project, located in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) region, will supply competitively priced, carbon-free electricity.
A portion of the solar output will serve EdgeConneX, a global data center operator and sustainability leader, which recently renewed its partnership with Gridmatic to receive hourly matched clean energy.
AI-Driven Market Forecasting Enhances Reliability
The PPA directly supports Gridmatic’s rapidly expanding C&I retail business by providing reliable, carbon-free energy. Leveraging Gridmatic’s AI-based market forecasting technology, the agreement aims to optimize both cost and carbon impact, ensuring Gridmatic can continue offering high-quality clean energy contracts to its retail customers.
Jackson Vo, President of Retail at Gridmatic, said, “This PPA adds reliable, carbon-free capacity to help us meet the growing energy needs of our retail customers.”
He added, “Sol Systems has been an exceptional partner—equally committed to driving meaningful impact, which makes this collaboration especially rewarding.”
