Schneider Electric & NVIDIA Partner for AI-Ready Infrastructure
Schneider Electric and NVIDIA collaborate to create next-generation AI-ready infrastructure, advancing sustainable AI factories across Europe.

Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, has announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA to meet the growing demand for sustainable, AI-ready infrastructure.

The collaboration, unveiled during NVIDIA GTC Paris, will focus on advancing research and development (R&D) in areas such as power, cooling, controls, and high-density rack systems to support the next generation of AI factories globally, with a particular focus on Europe.

This partnership aims to support the European Union’s AI infrastructure goals under its “InvestAI” initiative, which plans to mobilize €200 billion in AI investment.

Together, Schneider Electric and NVIDIA are responding to the European Commission’s AI Continent Action Plan, which includes establishing at least 13 AI factories and 5 AI gigafactories across the continent.

AI-Ready Infrastructure for the Future

Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, said, “Schneider Electric and NVIDIA are not just partners — our teams are driving advanced R&D, co-developing the infrastructure needed to power the next wave of AI factories globally.”

He added, “Together, we’ve seen tremendous success in deploying next-generation power and liquid cooling solutions, purpose-built for AI data centers. This strategic partnership — bringing together the world leaders in sustainability and accelerated computing — allows us to further accelerate this momentum, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for the AI workloads of tomorrow.”

To complement this cooperation, Schneider Electric has introduced a series of AI-enabled data center solutions, such as the EcoStruxure™ Pod and Rack Infrastructure. Such solutions, most notably the Prefabricated Modular EcoStruxure Pod Data Center, facilitate scalable deployments of AI and propel global AI innovations.

New Solutions to Support NVIDIA's Platform

Schneider Electric has also developed a new Open Compute Project (OCP)-inspired rack system designed to support NVIDIA's GB200 NVL72 platform using the NVIDIA MGX modular architecture. This integration marks the first time Schneider Electric has been incorporated into the NVIDIA HGX and MGX ecosystems.

The companies have also co-developed electrical and liquid cooling-based reference designs for AI data centers, with Motivair’s liquid cooling portfolio, following Schneider Electric's acquisition of Motivair in March 2025. This includes a digital twin solution for electrical and large-scale power systems in AI factories, co-developed with ETAPusing the NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint.
