Shoreline Wind Enters Onshore Market with AI-Powered Simulation Platform
Shoreline Wind's AI-powered simulation platform enhances onshore wind project efficiency and sustainability.

Shoreline Wind has officially entered the onshore wind market, leveraging its established offshore wind platform and simulation-first approach to planning, construction, and operations & maintenance (O&M), as reported by RenewsBiz. This new initiative aims to help developers, operators, and service providers design, build, and operate more cost-efficient and low-risk projects in an increasingly competitive and low-margin environment.

Ole-Erik Endrerud, founder and Chief Product Officer of Shoreline Wind, said, “We’re bringing the full power of Shoreline’s simulation and resource management capabilities to the onshore wind market to support onshore’s evolution.”

He added, “In today’s low-margin environment, the sector can no longer rely on speed alone – it must build smarter, plan better, and operate with more efficiency and precision.”

Harnessing AI for Smarter Operations

Shoreline’s onshore wind platform uses its AI software, Shoresim AI, to optimize operations by generating adaptive work orders, providing real-time insights, and performing sensitivity analyses. It also delivers optimizations and forecasts while managing crew availability, logistics, and environmental permits, ensuring efficient and cost-effective project execution.

Global Application of Shoreline’s Technology

Shoreline's onshore technology is already in use with Japanese developer Renova. In Japan, simulation tools helped the company address tidal and transport challenges, ensuring smoother project delivery. Similarly, in the Philippines, Shoreline's technology streamlined logistics for remote and complex sites, helping unlock efficiencies before ground-breaking even began.
