VFlowTech Secures $20.5M to Scale Vanadium Flow Batteries and AI Energy Platform, Driving Long-Duration Storage and Grid Decarbonization Across Asia

VFlowTech, a pioneering long-duration energy storage solutions provider, has effectively raised $20.5 million in its recent funding round.

The lead investment was made by high-profile venture capital firm Granite Asia, joined by new investors EDBI, MOL PLUS, and PSA Ventures, along with ongoing support from existing investors Antares Ventures, İnci Holding, UntroD Capital, Pappas Capital, Wavemaker Partners, SEEDS Capital, and Entrepreneurs First.

This capital will allow VFlowTech to grow its groundbreaking Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFBs) technology and develop its AI-driven energy management platform, maximizing efficiency and facilitating new revenue opportunities.

The firm aims to strengthen its supply chain functions through vanadium recycling, electrolyte development, and membrane technology. Growing Energy Storage Solutions for a Greener Future

VFlowTech's innovative long-duration energy storage technology is an imperative solution in meeting the increasing demand for renewable energy and electric vehicle infrastructure.

With Singapore emerging as a world leader in sustainability and smart energy, VFlowTech's cloud AI platform will provide innovative smart grid capabilities that will enable customers to maximize energy usage, engage in energy trading, and maximize the return on investment of their energy storage systems.

Dr. Avishek Kumar, Founder and CEO of VFlowTech, said, “As industries and governments prioritise sustainability, VFlowTech is at the forefront of providing advanced storage solutions that optimise energy usage and reduce environmental impact. With this investment, we are poised for significant growth and technological advancement.”
