Vietnam Airlines Partners with FPT for Digital Transformation and Enhanced Customer Experience
Vietnam Airlines has entered into a strategic partnership with FPT, a leading technology corporation, to accelerate its digital transformation and improve customer experiences across all operational touchpoints.
The collaboration, under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), is set to implement a range of advanced technologies, including Generative AI, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Blockchain, IoT, and digital platforms, to redefine the airline's operational capabilities and elevate the passenger journey.
Key Focus Areas of the Partnership
Vietnam Airlines, in partnership with FPT, is launching a next-gen e-commerce platform to deliver personalized experiences, expand its service ecosystem, and drive revenue growth. The collaboration includes AI-driven solutions like a Customer Data Platform, chatbots, voicebots, and integrated CRM/ERP systems.
FPT will provide scalable cloud infrastructure and data centers, while enhancing the airline’s loyalty program through integration with its broader ecosystem. The partners will co-invest in tech initiatives, share revenues, and co-own IP, with plans for regional and global expansion.

Strategic Goals and Initiatives
As part of their strategic collaboration, FPT and Vietnam Airlines plan to establish an AI Innovation Lab to drive personalized customer experiences through cutting-edge technologies. FPT will also provide AI training to Vietnam Airlines' employees, empowering them to effectively utilize AI tools in their roles.
Additionally, the partnership focuses on modernizing the airline’s cloud infrastructure to enhance scalability and operational flexibility.
